(Source: California Air Resources Board) The California Air Resources Board (CARB) today announced all parties covered by the state’s cap-and-trade greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction program have met their annual compliance obligations. This means that each facility covered by cap-and-trade has surrendered 30 percent of its overall obligation for 2016. The remainder of each facility’s compliance obligation will need to be turned in next year, at the end of the three-year 2015-2017 compliance period. Read full article…
